Bodybuilders Handbook is the brainchild of a bodybuilder who has dedicated his life to the sport.
Born in South Africa and now resident in the United Kingdom (London) Steve played and participated
in sport from a very young age.
After years of enjoying various other sports Steve tried bodybuilding
and never looked back.
He has trained from an early age with weights and was trained by and trained
with some of the innovators in training in his early years.

After teaching for years in other gyms and working full time in his then chosen career of Electronics
and Sales, Steve decided to follow his
first love and bought his own Gym.
This gave Steve the opportunity to test his own weight training ideas
and training methods across many different sports including: Power Lifting, Competitive Body Building, Boxing, Cycling,
Sprinting, Rugby and other more specialised sports.
Modifying the equipment in his gym to reflect
innovative ideas was just one of the courses of action that started a flow of success. This included taking
new unschooled bodybuilders into competition and helping them to win their divisions. Steve also trained
international athletes.

The main purpose of this site is to share ideas and create a forum for serious
athletes and ordinary people interested in weight training. It is also meant to be moral and honest and
cut through the hype and misdirection so prevalent in this field.
